Legal review

This page is an operational overview for pilots and engineering alignment. Have counsel approve customer-facing privacy policy language before production marketing or enterprise contracts rely on it.

Privacy overview

Funder IQ provides diligence and grant operations software to foundations and grant-making teams. We process account data, workspace content you enter, and integrations you connect. Public nonprofit data (for example from filings and open APIs) is combined into dossiers for your review.

What we collect

  • Account identifiers: name, email, authentication secrets (hashed), session cookies.
  • Tenant-scoped workspace data: dossiers, reviews, decisions, grants, documents you upload.
  • Technical data: standard server logs, IP and user agent as typical for web applications.
  • Optional integrations: email delivery and AI analysis when enabled in your environment.

How we use data

To provide and secure the service, support your foundation’s workflows, and improve reliability. AI-assisted features process prompts and context you send to those endpoints; treat outputs as advisory and validate before decisions.

Sharing

We use subprocessors (infrastructure, email, optional AI) under written arrangements. See the Subprocessors page. We do not sell personal information.

Retention & deletion

Retention follows your subscription, pilot agreement, and backup practices. Data subject and org-level requests should follow your internal process and Trust center contacts once published.
